Program is going to lose its AmeriCorps VISTA Coordinator

resident who is interested in becoming the Volunteer

is a little time to spare and a passion or desire to improve
your neighborhood.  The NorthWest Initiative and its partner
organizations will work with you and provide training and
resources for this position.  If you are interested in

Project Plans for Vision 2020 Project Coordinator 2008-
2009

Members will assist the affiliate in forming and managing
partnerships with community-based businesses, faith-
based organizations, neighborhood groups, schools, city
officials, etc., in support of the Vision 20/20 project plan.

The Vision 20/20 goal is to build capacity among
community-based coalitions partnering with Habitat
affiliates so that they can help to create livable communities
that eliminate substandard housing.  Vision 20/20 will work
to encourage these groups to think about the broader goals
of community development and not just producing units of
affordable housing.

Objective: members will assist in forming partnerships
within the community to eliminate substandard housing in a
target area by the year 2020.
