Walnut Youth Community Garden

The Walnut Youth Community Garden broke
ground in spring of 2009 outside of our offices
at 1012 N. Walnut in Lansing. Nearly 50 children
enrolled in our youth programs participated in the
planting, maintenance and harvest throughout
the year. Complete with over a dozen raised
beds and lots of community support, our first
year was a great success; including a Youth
Farm Stand at Westside Summer Fest and a
neighborhood harvest cookout. Check out the
